Larry and Annette Dickinson

Larry and Annette have been ryding Spyders for 6 years.  Looking for something different to do on a weekend they found someone locally that rented Spyders and thought it would be fun to give it a try. Well as fate would have it, that individual had gone out of business and that started them to looking for other opportunities. This research led them to Elk Grove Power Sports where they arranged a test drive, and that was the beginning as they welcomed Buster (2013 RTL) into the family. Over the course of the next 3 years Buster’s front seat got very crowded as they both craved driving the Spyder.  Through the unique experience of conducting Demo Rydes for BRP, Larry fell in love with the F3Limited, and at that point Taz joined the stable, and, both of their cars were welcomed to park on the street as the garage was full of Spyders! After an Iron Butt (1000 miles in 24 hours), a trip to Valcourt, and almost 60,000 Spyder miles, Larry and Annette found they loved the adventure of long rydes, and they enjoy sharing these experiences with other Ryders. So if this appeals to you, join in on the fun.

Greg Ausmus

Greg rode two wheels for decades before switching to Spyders in 2015. He located the SRA - Sacramento Chapter in 2016 and joined shortly thereafter. At the first SRA -Sacramento Chapter rally (2016), he could be found at the rydes meet-up area, directing ryders to their desired ryde. During Demo Days in 2017, he led many new Ryders on their first ryde. Early this year (2018) he became a Road Captain. Greg enjoys taking new ryders on scenic yet sedate rydes to show them the joy of Spyders. Greg hopes to see you on one soon!

I have always wanted a Spyder ever since they first came out in 2008. I went and sat on one and was sad because I couldn't sit with my legs bent due to knee problems. When Can-Am came out with the F-3 U Fit I was so excited! I went straight to Elk Grove Power Sports and bought my 2015 F-3. I have never ridden any motorcycle before and my first ride was from Elk Grove to my home in Vacaville on the freeway. I was a little scared at first but riding the Spyder is very easy, comfortable, and fun. I joined SRA Sacramento and became part of a new wonderful family. My girl Izzy and I have ridden over 30,000 miles and are excited to see where new adventures take us.

've been riding sport bikes for many years and was really taken with the Can-Am Spyder when it debuted in 2008. I had to get one! My opportunity to become an owner came in 2017 when I took a demo ride in Lodi with SRA Sacramento members Greg, Mary, Bud, and Yonelle. They offered so much valuable information that day which led me to purchase my first Spyder, a 2016 RT-S. Right after I became an owner I joined SRA-Sacramento. This year I became the President. I ryde over 1000 miles per month and have taken my Spyder to many wonderful locations including the 3 Wheeler Rally in Deadwood, SD. Our team of Road Captains look forward to guiding you during Nor-Cal Spyder Rally 2019.

Howard & Lila Cooke

We have been riding motorcycles well over 50 years.  Our first Spyder was a 2010 RT bought from Elk Grove Power Sports. Ryding two-up until Howard was encouraged (by Lila) to get his own Spyder, we were then a two Spyder family.  Since then, Lila upgraded to a 2013 RT Limited and currently to a 2018 RT Limited, and Howard to a 2016 F-3 Limited.

Lila has been on two Iron Butt rides, traveled with Lady Spyder Ryders to Oregon, Washington and Canada, Arizona and Nevada.  We traveled to Durango Colorado for the BRP Owners Event, and Rydes throughout California and Oregon.

We have been active members, road captains and officers for the SRA - Sacramento Chapter since it's start.  We really enjoy meeting new Spyder Ryders and finding new destinations to explore.

I have been President of the SRA Sacramento Chapter for 4 years, and riding Spyders since 2013, when we bought our 1st Spyder, a 2013 ST-Limited. In addition to the ST-L, we have a 2016 F3-S and a Premiere Edition 2008 GS in our garage. Some of the best times i've had have been Spyder related, working with BRP to coordinate and lead demo rides across California, interacting with Spyder riders across the U.S. and Canada, during our last 2 rallies, and so much more. The one thing I've learned with the purchase of our first Spyder, was that we bought a Spyder, but gained a Spyder family that spans across states and countries!
